By making a booking at the Falmouth Lodge you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
Check-in is ideally between 5 pm and 8 pm, although this is our home and arrangements can be made for outside of these times. Photo ID will be required at Check-in.
Guests that do not arrive to claim their bookings by 8pm without arrangement will be considered ‘no-shows’. In this case the booking may be cancelled and the credit/debit card charged accordingly.
Once guests have checked-in and registered they are free to come and go as they please, there is no curfew under normal circumstances. We just ask that guests be respectful of the other residents if arriving back late, or leaving very early.
Check-out time is 10.00 am. Arrangements may be made to keep your bed until 3pm for an extra charge of £10 per person
A replacement fee of £10 will be charged for any room keys NOT returned at the end of your stay
A minimum of two nights booking is required. Bookings are secured online or by phoning in card details, in order to pay a first night deposit. Guests are expected to pay for balance of their reservation, in full, when they check in, preferably in cash.
Changes and Cancellations:
Individual bookings may be changed or cancelled up to 72 hours before the day of arrival. If you cancel a booking more than 72 hours before your arrival date you will forfeit £5 per person booking, but will not be charged for the balance of the booking value.
For cancellations or changes less than 72 hours before the booking date we reserve the right to make a minimum charge of one night’s accommodation to the credit or debit card used to secure the booking.
For ‘no-shows’, i.e., bookings that do not turn up or do not contact us to cancel, we reserve the right to charge the full value of the booking even if it is for multiple nights.
Group bookings must be secured with a deposit, normally 25 – 50% of the booking value. This deposit is non-refundable from the time it is received. The balance of the booking value is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made less than 6 weeks before the booking date we will make the date(s) available for other bookings and reimburse the original group for whatever booking value we are able to re-sell, less the original non-refundable deposit.
A security bond may be taken at the time of check in against anti-social behaviour and damages.
We reserve the right to refuse bookings that we consider inappropriate for our hostel and to expel guests at our discretion for any behavior we deem anti-social (e.g. individuals under the influence of excessive alcohol).
There will also be a minimum extra cleaning fee of £75 applied to any guest or group who depart leaving extra cleaning needing to be done such as mattresses or carpets requiring cleaning or replacing due to unacceptable soiling.
